Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of this website and every order placed with Velaris Terrace, a sole proprietorship trading online from Ashiyana 220 Mahatma Gandhi Nagar, DCM Ajmer Road, Mahatma Gandhi Nagar, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302021, India. Browsing or ordering means you accept them. They are read with our Shipping Policy, Refund and Returns Policy, Cancellation Policy, Payment Policy and Privacy Policy, and they are governed by Indian law — the Information Technology Act, 2000 (IT Act 2000), the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act 2023).

1. What we sell

We retail Humidifiers & Dehumidifiers online — cool-mist humidifiers, compact and room dehumidifiers, and 2-in-1 units that switch between the two. Orders are placed here and dispatched from Jaipur. We do not install, service or repair appliances.

2. No medical or health claims

These are humidity appliances. We make no claim that any product treats, prevents, cures or relieves asthma, allergy, sinus problems, snoring, skin conditions or any other medical condition, and nothing on this site should be read as medical advice. Where a listing repeats a maker’s description of comfort in dry or damp air, that is a comfort statement and nothing more. If you have a health concern, speak to a doctor.

3. Coverage figures

A stated coverage — for example up to 1000 sq ft — is the manufacturer’s figure for a closed room at a stated temperature and humidity. Real rooms differ: open plan, open doors, monsoon humidity and low temperatures all change what a unit achieves. Coverage is a guide to sizing, not a performance guarantee for your room.

4. Using the site

Use it lawfully, give an accurate delivery address and phone number, and do not scrape or republish our listings and photography.

5. Prices, currency and tax

Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) including any tax that applies. We trade below the GST registration threshold for individual sellers, so no GST is charged separately and no GST invoice is issued; a plain sale invoice travels in the parcel. Shipping is quoted before payment — free from ₹3,999, otherwise a flat ₹99, with no weight surcharge afterwards.

6. Orders and our right to decline

An order is an offer to buy; the contract forms on dispatch. We may decline or cancel — refunding in full anything paid — where stock has run out, a specification was published in error, the address cannot be served, or the order shows fraud markers.

7. Payment

UPI and Cash on Delivery only. We do not accept credit cards, debit cards, net banking, PayPal or any other wallet, and we never ask for or store card numbers, CVV codes, UPI PINs or banking passwords.

8. Delivery, cancellation and returns

Handling of 2 business days, delivery in 4–11 business days, free cancellation before dispatch and a 7 days return window are on the relevant pages, which form part of these terms. A unit in regular use cannot be returned.

9. Electrical safety and use

Run a unit on Indian domestic supply through a correctly rated socket, not a travel adaptor or a light-duty extension lead. Keep it on a level surface away from the edge of a table, empty the tank before moving it, and unplug before filling or cleaning. Follow the maker’s descaling and filter-change schedule. Any appliance holding water near mains electricity deserves that care.

10. Water quality and wear

Ultrasonic humidifiers throw fine mineral dust on hard water; filters clog, tanks scale and wicks discolour with use. These are consumables and ordinary wear, not manufacturing faults, and we do not offer a warranty of our own on them.

11. Intellectual property

Text, descriptions, photography, layout, logo and the name Velaris Terrace belong to us or our licensors, protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999. Do not copy or republish them commercially without written permission.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, and except as stated in these terms, the site and the products are provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or of any product — including water damage from a unit left unattended — whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing removes your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

13. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delay caused by courier-network failure, flood, transport strike or government restriction. Where such an event prevents delivery entirely, we refund in full.

14. Changes

These terms may be revised; the version published on the day of your order governs that order.

15. Governing law, jurisdiction and contact

Indian law applies, and disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan. Questions go to [email protected], answered during working hours — Monday – Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST. Closed on Sundays and public holidays.
